Sharika Enterprises, a prominent Indian EPC company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Russian engineering firm Engineering Center Energoservice (ENS) to exclusively distribute ENS's advanced transformer condition monitoring systems in India.
The ENS systems use synchrophasor measurements to monitor the health of power transformers in real-time, helping to minimize operational risks and avoid costly downtimes.
The MoU also covers the distribution of ENS’s grid protection and condition monitoring solutions, including Wide Area Monitoring Systems (WAMS) and Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs) to improve overall grid reliability.
The partnership aims to enhance India’s power grid performance and is exploring opportunities for local manufacturing under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, aligning with the country's energy efficiency goals.
