NETHERLANDS - The contracts with the new parties were signed and the start of the cooperation was officially sealed.
TenneT has announced that they have signed long-term contracts with those companies that will carry out work on the overhead high-voltage lines in the Netherlands.
According to TenneT, SPIE, Qirion and Volker Enery Solutions will perform specialised work on behalf of the national grid operator in the coming years on the high-voltage grid, which needs to be significantly expanded and reinforced as a result of the energy transition.
"We are proud of the collaboration with these parties, whose knowledge and expertise can help us in the challenges posed by the energy transition. In doing so, these companies have also shown an eye for safety in implementation. This is an essential element in our daily work, especially when working at height. I look forward to further cooperation," said Maarten Abbenhuis, COO TenneT.
According to the company, at the Arnhem office, the contracts with the new parties were signed and the start of the cooperation was officially sealed. For the three selected parties, the road to Arnhem was not completely unknown. They have been involved in TenneT work for years, including in other areas of implementation.
