GERMANY - Their Blue Portfolio is a key to a sustainable energy transition and an efficient energy supply without environmental risks.
Trench Germany has announced that a partial type test took place in their high-voltage test field as part of a customer presentation of the new combi converter. In the presence of four dominant transmission system operators from Germany and a representative from the Netherlands, the dielectric test was carried out in accordance with the applicable IEC standard.
According to Trench Germany, with the successful test in front of a live audience, their Blue Portfolio is now officially complete. Current, voltage and combination transformers can now be operated up to 420kV. However, the required test levels are lower, which means that the successful test can also be regarded as a qualification of the 362 kV level for their North American customers.
According to Trench, the new portfolio has a Global Warming Potential of zero, which should allow it to become an important factor in the sustainable energy transition and help in the creation of an efficient energy supply without environmental risks.
