BAMBERG, GERMANY — To date almost 600 million people in Africa still do not have access to electricity.
Trench Germany today announced that they will be partnering with ALGA Sarl on a project to help bring electricity to several rural regions in Senegal. According to the company, Trench Germany will be delivering several of their 245kV and 110 kV power voltage transformers to several locations.
“We will make an active contribution to the electrification of the country which provides long-term benefits for future generations! What a milestone to pave our way towards an energized society!” Trench Group wrote on their social media posts.
