Peter Dopplmair has been appointed as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Trench Group, effective September 1, 2024. In this role, Dopplmair will be responsible for steering the company's technological strategy, fostering innovation, and spearheading digital transformation initiatives.

Dopplmair's educational background includes a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Higher Technical College of Electrical Engineering in Wels and the University of Hagen. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having held various management positions since 2004. Prior to joining Trench Austria in 2016, Dopplmair served as Senior Consultant for Innovation Strategy at Siemens AG. At Trench Austria, he was instrumental in driving sales and business development for coil products.

As the new CTO of Trench Group, Dopplmair will concentrate on the development and optimization of sustainable products, leveraging the extensive expertise accumulated by the Trench Group over the years. Dr. Bahadir Basdere, President and CEO of Trench Group, expressed confidence in Dopplmair’s ability to contribute significantly to the company’s future: “We are convinced that with his expertise and commitment he will make a decisive contribution to further expanding our position as market leader and actively shaping the future of our company.”
