Trench Group GmbH, a global leader in high-voltage transmission components, has signed long-term framework agreements with three major Chinese transformer manufacturers: TBEA, TWBB, and SPECO. The deals extend well into the next decade and support China’s ambitious nationwide grid expansion initiative.
These partnerships position Trench Group as a key supplier of high-voltage bushings, a critical component for ultra-high-voltage (UHV) transmission infrastructure. As China rapidly scales its renewable energy capacity, the demand for reliable, high-performance grid components has surged. The agreements aim to support the integration of wind and solar energy from remote regions into the national grid.
Dr. Bahadir Basdere, CEO of Trench Group, stated: “These framework agreements are further proof that our bushing technology is trusted and in demand across the globe – not only because of its outstanding quality, but also due to our continued innovation.”
Headquartered in Berlin, Trench Group has more than a century of experience in high-voltage systems and employs over 2,800 people worldwide. Its product range includes bushings, coils, and instrument transformers, all playing a vital role in grid protection, measurement, and energy transfer.
