According to the Moray West Offshore Windfarm company, last week in Newcastle, documented by their supervisor on site… 2x 220/66kV 440 MVA units for Moray West Offshore Windfarm, fully preassembled, lifted and installed on the platform in Newcastle yard. The Windfarm project should have power generated from wind turbines which should be transmitted through sub-sea array cables to two OSP’s. The power shoulf be transmitted to the onshore substation and final connection would be made from the onshore substation into the 400kV transmission system by offshore and onshore export cables.
