Hitachi Energy has secured a frame agreement with transmission system operator RWE, one of the largest electricity producers in Europe and a key player in the field of renewable energy. This strategic partnership aims to supply transformers for RWE's upcoming renewable energy projects across Europe, bolstering the continent's progress towards net-zero emissions. 

The agreement marks the first-ever collaboration between Hitachi Energy and RWE, focusing on the provision of small power transformers (SPTs) crucial for green energy initiatives. These transformers, designed by Hitachi Energy, will adhere to technical and regulatory standards specific to each European country where RWE's projects are located.

Transformers are vital components of electric systems, and Hitachi Energy's extensive footprint across Europe positions it well to support RWE's endeavors. Norbert Beatrix, Hub Manager for Hitachi Energy's European region, expressed gratitude for RWE's trust and highlighted the importance of such partnerships in driving Europe's clean energy transition.
