With over 30 years of history, Hitachi Energy has been a key player in supporting Vietnam's infrastructure and industry, contributing more than 30 percent of the country's renewable energy integration into the grid.

The new Transformers Factory showcases Hitachi Energy's dedication to cutting-edge technology, ensuring exceptional quality, and adhering to world-leading manufacturing processes. Specializing in liquid-filled power and distribution transformers, the factory is set to nearly double its annual capacity while meeting the most stringent global standards. This expansion enables significant contributions to the energy transition in the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa regions.
Bruno Melles, Managing Director, Business Unit Transformers, Hitachi Energy, stated, "The Bac Ninh factory inauguration will help us in advancing the world’s energy system to be more sustainable, flexible, and secure." The factory, which currently employs over 500 people, aligns with Hitachi Energy's commitment to social and economic progress in the local community and has received LEED Gold certification for sustainability.
This state-of-the-art facility also exemplifies Hitachi Energy's dedication to innovation, producing distribution transformers with TVP® (Transient Voltage Protection) Technology. This revolutionary solution enhances the reliability of distribution transformers, providing complete protection against transient voltages in applications such as Data Centers, Solar, and Wind renewable generation.
