Virginia Transformer has delivered a 28/46.7 MVA, 138/13.2 kV power transformer to Oncor in Lancaster, Texas. The transformer, designed with a 60-year service life, is intended to enhance the reliability of the region’s power grid, ensuring consistent energy supply for local businesses and residents.
Oncor, the largest energy delivery company in Texas, serves more than 400 communities and operates over 143,000 miles of transmission and distribution lines across 98 counties. The new transformer will assist in strengthening the grid infrastructure and ensuring the reliability of power delivery in the area.
