Nordex to Supply Turbines for 21-MW German Wind Project
Nordex SE has received a contract from BMR Energy Solutions GmbH to supply and install turbines for a 21-MW wind farm in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The project at Heinsberg-Boverath will feature three N163/6.X turbines, with servicing included for 20 years.
This latest order follows several contracts between Nordex and BMR in 2025. Since January, BMR Energy Solutions has ordered additional turbines totaling 88.8 MW for wind farms in Bedburg, Wanlo, Geilenkirchen, Heinsberg-Boverath, and Willich, with operations expected in 2026 and 2027.
Nordex has installed approximately 57 GW of wind power capacity across more than 40 markets globally. Its order book reached USD 17.3 billion (EUR 14.9 billion) at the end of September 2025, up from EUR 11.5 billion a year ago, reflecting strong demand for onshore wind solutions in Europe.
The Heinsberg-Boverath project demonstrates the continued growth of Germany’s renewable energy sector, particularly in the Rhenish mining district and Lower Rhine regions. With long-term servicing included, the agreement ensures both operational reliability and optimized performance of the turbines over their lifespan.
