RESA Power, LLC, a U.S.-based leader in power systems electrical testing and transformer services, has acquired Commercial Switchgear Ltd. and Commercial Switchgear Service Inc. (together, CSL), marking its official expansion into the Ontario market.

Headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, CSL has been serving the region since 1978, offering low and medium voltage electrical power and control systems, engineering, and field services. This acquisition strengthens RESA Power's engineering and service capabilities in Eastern Canada, particularly in the Greater Toronto Area.

Mark Angus, Chief Growth Officer at RESA Power, said the acquisition creates a flagship presence in Ontario, highlighting CSL's 45-year track record in delivering high-quality, custom-engineered power systems.

Gifford Scott, co-owner and President of CSL, expressed confidence in the partnership, citing shared values around quality and customer focus. Executive Manager Luciano Paolucci noted the expanded service capabilities that come with being part of RESA Power.

As part of the integration, RESA Power is extending its Employee Ownership Plan (EOP) to eligible CSL employees, aligning with its "One RESA" philosophy to foster shared ownership and long-term growth.
