Muelheim, GERMANY - The machine could serve the gas supply to Europe.

Robin Zimmermann, Senior Vice President of Communications at Siemens Energy has announced that they have hosted German chancellor Olaf Scholz at their manufacturing site in Muelheim.

According to Zimmermann, Siemens Energy CEO Christian Bruch showcased an AGT turbine, waiting for its import to Russia to serve the Nordstream pipeline. What started as a routine overhaul for the Siemens Energy team ended in the eye of a geopolitical storm. The turbine is ready for delivery to Russia, but the customer is not taking it back, so the machine could serve the gas supply to Europe.
