The act should stabilize and grow the U.S. onshore wind energy market and expedite the achievement of the country's domestic offshore wind deployment ambitions, all while supporting the domestic manufacturing of clean energy components and boosting new technologies.

According to Siemens Gamesa, if innovative policy solutions like those included in the IRA are adopted broadly by other governments, it would make a considerable impact to accelerate a clean energy future that helps ease the supply chain challenges currently impacting the manufacturing sector, creates well-paying jobs, and incentivizes investment in clean energy technologies.
