Zamudio, SPAIN - The two projects should power over 35,000 households with clean energy.

Siemens Gamesa has announced that they have signed their first two contracts with PPC Renewables - Î"Î*Î-- Î'νανεώσιμες.

According to Siemens Gamesa, as part of the 40MW deal, they should supply five turbines for the Doukas wind project and three turbines for the Koukouli wind project bringing them ever closer to the 1GW installed milestone in Greece.

The two projects, which can be found in the Makedonia region, should power over 35,000 households with clean energy whilst preventing over 105,000 tons of CO2 emissions.

According to the company, the contracts with PPC Renewables, a subsidiary of PPC, Greece's largest energy company, include the maintenance of the turbines for a period of 20 years ensuring that their availability, and ability to produce clean energy, are maximized.
