EGYPT - The outcome of this review encourages the use of high-capacity onshore wind technology in the Egyptian market.

Siemens Gamesa has announced that they have welcomed the Egyptian government's initiative to review the country's Integrated Sustainable Energy Strategy, discussed during the ministerial meeting held earlier this month by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

According to Siemens Gamesa, the outcome of this review encourages the use of high-capacity onshore wind technology in the Egyptian market, which should increase the volume generated by wind turbines and unlock the full potential of wind energy in areas with high wind speeds.
