Siemens Smart Infrastructure has unveiled Electrification X, a groundbreaking addition to its Xcelerator portfolio. This new offering, following the success of Building X and Gridscale X, aims to revolutionize electrification infrastructure across various sectors.

Electrification X is a dynamic, open, and interoperable portfolio that facilitates the digital transformation of electrification infrastructure in commercial, industrial, and utility applications. By leveraging IoT SaaS offerings and software solutions, customers can enhance energy efficiency, enable e-mobility, and optimize industrial energy systems.

Aral AG, a subsidiary of the BP Group, has been announced as the first Electrification X Load Management customer. They will utilize Electrification X to manage EV charging stations in Germany and Austria, showcasing the platform's capabilities in advancing electric mobility infrastructure.

Matthias Rebellius, Managing Board Member of Siemens AG and CEO of Smart Infrastructure, highlighted the significance of digitalization in achieving sustainable electrification goals. With Electrification X, Siemens aims to make it easier for companies to digitally transform their electrification infrastructure at scale.

As part of Siemens Xcelerator, Electrification X is developed with core principles of interoperability, flexibility, and cybersecurity. The offering includes applications like Load Management, Network Fault Management, Asset Management, Sustainability Energy Management, and OT Companion, all aimed at improving productivity, reliability, and sustainability.
