Trench Germany reduces the use of fossil energy sources

21 Jul 2022

GERMANY - Heating with biomass should be the most sensible green energy source for Trench Germany GmbH.

Trench Germany announced they have set the goal of reducing the use of fossil energy sources as much as possible. Since their existing infrastructure requires high flow temperatures, heating with biomass should be the most sensible green energy source for them.

According to the company, after their started construction work in March, the system technology of their new wood chip heating system was delivered. Upon completion, they plan to make the complete oil heating superfluous from October, which accounts for about 50% of the total heating energy at the site.

According to BAFA (German federal agency for economic affairs and export control), the total rated thermal input should be just under 1 MW.
