JP Energie acquires 202 MW of French solar and wind projects

JP Energie Environnement added interests in 202 MW of solar and wind projects through five transactions covering 14 projects in the first half of 2026.
The portfolio comprises 175 MW of solar PV projects, in which JP Energie holds 50% stakes through co-development partnerships, and 27 MW of wind projects, which it owns outright. Of the solar capacity, 74% is ready to build and 26% remains in development, while all 27 MW of wind capacity is ready to build.
The 14 projects are expected to reach operation by 2029, with combined annual generation estimated at 260 GWh.
JP Energie plans to pursue further solar and wind acquisitions and evaluate battery energy storage system (BESS)opportunities.
The company currently has 625 MW in operation, 585 MW under or nearing construction and 2.85 GW in development.
