Crusoe Expands Tulsa Manufacturing for AI Infrastructure
Crusoe has opened a second manufacturing facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, adding 400,000 square feet and bringing its US manufacturing footprint to about 1 million square feet.
The facilities produce medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage switchboards, electrical enclosures, industrial controls and custom-fabricated copper busbar for AI infrastructure. Crusoe now employs more than 300 manufacturing workers across its Tulsa sites, up from 100 when its first facility opened in 2024.
Cully Cavness, Crusoe co-founder, president and chief strategy officer, said: “There’s a lot of talk about the AI buildout, but so much of it comes down to real people building real things, and we need more of those skilled hands here in Tulsa.”
The company said its Tulsa operations support gigawatts of AI infrastructure, including more than 2,500 switchboards supplied to its Stargate Project site in Abilene, Texas. Crusoe said in-house manufacturing provides greater control over design, production, testing and customization as demand for AI infrastructure grows.
