LONGi, Enexus Deploy 50 MWh BESS Capacity in Romania

LONGi and Enexus have signed an agreement for 50 MWh of liquid-cooled battery energy storage systems (BESS) for two PV-plus-storage projects in Titu, Dâmbovița County, Romania.

Titu 1 combines 20 MWp of solar capacity with 15 MWh of BESS and is complete, awaiting grid connection. Titu 3 will comprise 35 MWp and 35 MWh of BESS and is under development.

The deployment includes 10 LONGi utility-scale BESS units with integrated medium-voltage (MV) skid systems. The projects are designed to support energy shifting, capacity firming and grid-support services. Liquid cooling supports uniform cell temperatures and longer operating system life.

Dennis She, Vice President of LONGi and President of LONGi Energy Storage, said: “Energy storage is no longer just an add-on; it is an essential stabilizer of the modern power network.”

The agreement expands a partnership that has seen more than 200 MW of LONGi PV modules deployed across Enexus projects since 2025.
