DEME Wins 69-Turbine Installation Contract for Zeevonk
DEME announced on October 14, 2026, that it had secured a contract to transport and install 69 offshore wind turbines at the 1 GW Zeevonk offshore wind farm in the Netherlands.
The company will deploy its jack-up vessel Norse Energi for the project's first phase. The award follows a foundation installation contract secured in July 2026.
Zeevonk is jointly owned by Vattenfall and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) through its Energy Investment Fund I. Located 63–84 km off Bergen aan Zee, the project forms part of the Netherlands' renewable energy development, where submarine cables support offshore electricity transmission.
Mobilisation is expected in 2028, with completion anticipated in 2029.
Martin Degen, DEME's Business Unit Director WTG and O&M, said: “Following the foundation installation award earlier this summer, this contract further expands DEME’s role in the delivery of the Zeevonk wind farm.”
The project remains subject to a final investment decision.
