Goldwind Installs Six Turbines at 43.2 MW Georgia Wind Farm
Goldwind has completed installation of six GWH182-7.2 MW wind turbines at the 43.2 MW Breti Wind Power Project, developed by Vento Energy.
According to Goldwind, installation took 53 days despite mountainous terrain, variable wind conditions and transportation challenges.
Breti is Goldwind’s third wind project in Georgia and the country’s first to deploy the GWH182 turbine platform, designed for operation across varying terrain and wind conditions.
Since entering Georgia in 2024, Goldwind has secured nine wind projects totaling 438 MW, according to the company.
The milestone adds to Georgia’s wind energy development efforts, with renewable power asset monitoring providing broader context for wind farm operations and grid integration.
Goldwind highlighted its integrated transportation and construction services in completing installations under challenging conditions. However, the company has not announced a commissioning date or confirmed that the turbines are supplying electricity to the grid.
