Doble, Megger merge under ESCO
Doble Engineering and Megger have completed their merger under ESCO Technologies, combining electrical testing, monitoring and asset management capabilities used across utility and power system infrastructure.
The organization combines Megger’s portable offline testing and field instrumentation with Doble’s substation testing, continuous monitoring, diagnostics, software analytics, laboratory and engineering services.
The companies plan to connect testing and monitoring data with analytics and decision support, providing power system operators with greater visibility into asset condition, investment planning and operational resilience.
“Together, we can create new possibilities for customers while building on the expertise, trust and culture that make both organizations strong today,” said Matt Carrara, president of Doble Engineering.
ESCO acquired Megger for approximately $2.35 billion, with Megger joining its Utility Solutions Group alongside Doble.
The merger combines Megger’s EMEA and Asian presence with Doble’s North American operations, creating a broader platform for supporting electrical infrastructure globally.
